Turmeric Vegan Smoothie

A yummy and healthy smoothie that’s so easy using the already blended Turmeric Latte mix from Turmeric Direct! The fruit and spices play beautifully off one another, and the full-fat coconut milk helps to maximize absorption for the fat soluble turmeric.

It’s quick and easy to use with all the super spices in one container!

Simply blend all ingredients together.

Tip! You can use any of these fruits frozen to make your smoothie deliciously cool!

Turmeric Health Balls

A yummy and healthy special treat and so easy to make with the already blended Turmeric Latte mix from Turmeric Direct!
Turmeric Directs Turmeric Latte Blend contains: Turmeric, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Ginger and Black Pepper.

Ingredients

  • 2 Teaspoons Turmeric Direct Latte Blend
  • 2 Cups Shredded Coconut
  • 1/2 Cup Raw Honey, Softened
  • 2 Tablespoons Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt

Method

  1. To begin making the turmeric balls, make sure you use finely shredded coconut. If you happen to have larger coconut flakes, run it through a food processor to achieve a finer consistency. The coconut will be the base and will roll easier when finely shredded.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine coconut, sea salt and Turmeric Latte blend.. Stir to combine and break up any lumps of coconut.
  3. Pour in oil and honey. Stir until completely mixed in.
  4. Roll mixture into small balls and place on a small parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Place in freezer for 10 minutes to set.
  5. Melt dark chocolate in a small saucepan over the stove using low heat. Stir until smooth.
  6. Use a butter knife to dip into chocolate and drizzle over balls. Set in refrigerator for 10 minutes.

Tip! Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Remove the turmeric balls from the fridge for 15 minutes before you eat them to let them soften.

Turmeric Hummus Dip

Ingredients

  • 3 Carrots
  • 1 Lime (Juiced)
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1-3 Tablespoons Water
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 – 1 Teaspoon Turmeric Direct Latte Blend

Method

  1. Steam the carrots and allow them to cool slightly.
  2. In a food processor, mix the steamed carrots with the lime juice, olive oil and 1 tbs water. Process until smooth.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients, including Turmeric Direct’s Turmeric Blend, as well as any additional water needed and process until combined. Mix until you get the desired consistency.
    Serve at room temperature, or chilled, with your favourite chips or crackers!
